Welcome to DiscountCarJo.com. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services, including booking and renting vehicles through Discount Car Rental (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website or services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, do not use our services.

  1. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold a valid driver’s license (in English or with a certified translation)
  • Possess a valid payment method
  • Comply with all local laws and rental requirements
  1. Booking and Rental Agreement
  2. Vehicle Booking
  • Booking can be made online via www.discountcarjo.com or by contacting our offices.
  • A confirmation email with booking details will be sent once payment is processed or a deposit is secured.
  1. Cancellations and Modifications
  • You may cancel or change your reservation according to the cancellation policy shown during checkout.
  • Refunds may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of deposit depending on timing.
  1. No-Show Policy

Failure to show up within the pickup window without prior notice may result in cancellation and no refund.

  1. Payment Terms
  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other methods listed at checkout.
  • A deposit or pre-authorization may be required at pickup for security.
  • Prices are shown in Jordanian Dinars (JOD) unless otherwise stated.
  • Any unpaid balance must be cleared at or before vehicle return.
  1. Driver Requirements
  • The renter must present a valid driver’s license, matching the name on the reservation.
  • Additional drivers must also meet all rental requirements and be registered at the time of booking or pickup.
  • International renters may need to provide a passport and an International Driving Permit (IDP).
  1. Use of the Vehicle
  • Vehicles must be used for lawful purposes only.
  • Prohibited uses include racing, towing, off-road driving, and transporting illegal substances.
  • Smoking in vehicles is strictly prohibited and subject to cleaning fees.
  • You are responsible for any tolls, fines, traffic violations, or parking penalties incurred during your rental.
  1. Insurance and Damage
  • Standard insurance coverage is included or offered during booking; additional coverage may be purchased.
  • The renter is responsible for any damage not covered by insurance, including tire and windshield damage, and theft due to negligence.
  • In the event of an accident, you must notify the local police and our office immediately.
  1. Vehicle Return
  • Vehicles must be returned at the agreed time and location.
  • Late returns may incur hourly or daily overage fees.
  • Vehicles returned excessively dirty or with low fuel may incur cleaning and refueling charges.
  1. Liability and Indemnity
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data, unless required by law.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claims resulting from your use of the vehicle or violation of these Terms.
  1. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content on our website—logos, images, text, designs, and software—are our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any part of the site without our written permission.

  1. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may link to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these external sites.

  1. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at our discretion, including for any breach of these Terms or misuse of our vehicles.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Amman, Jordan.

  1. Amendments

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the site or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
